Good atmosphere. Enticing menu. Friendly staff. Slow, sloth-like service for drinks and food. Overall food is meh. Should have went to Carrabba's.

Wow! What a wonderful dining experience. First, the new space is beautiful. Second, their staff is beyond amazing. They were both knowledgeable and attentive. Third, the food is on a different level. Everything is made is care. The pastas were really good. Well cooked and highly cared for Italian food. I think the appetizers were a bit lackluster but we were in there pretty late, and maybe the chefs only had enough concentration left for the main dishes...they were amazing! If you’re craving high end pasta, this isn’t a bad choice at all.

A top place for quality italian food. don't worry if it's busy, it is worth the wait. the service was very helpful and welcoming. prices are reasonable i would say.

High-end atmosphere, but not pretentious. Bold flavors and plenty of tasty vegetarian options! Great service and reasonable prices. It was my first time, and I'll be back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Great tasting food and presentation is beautiful! Pasta seems homemade, sauces seem fresh and greatly seasoned, staff is all extremely friendly and management coming around to double check our experience! Also Covid regulations doing well here! Thank you guys for a great experience!

italian food and the atmosphere at this place is excellent. Certainly worth going back to. The place has a cool feel to it. Not close to my job, I wish it was.

I was a regular client when it was at the previous location on 17th street. I had talked it up to my wife for quite a while. I made reservations two weeks ahead and when we got there the hostess looked up our reservation and gave us the first table that was next to, and almost facing the entrance. It was very cold. I told the hostess I did not want that table. She looked in her computer for a second and said that if we wanted another table it would take an hour and a half wait. My wife insisted that we stay since we were already there so we sat down. Every time the door was opened, which was frequently, we felt the cold draft. We wore our winter coats all the time we were there. The curious thing was that couples continued to come in and were seated in tables located further in. Since we were right next to the hostess we were able to see her looking for empty tables where to sit the folks that were just coming in. She did not do that for us. I liked the food at the old location and I liked it when we were there. I just wished the hostess could have been more sensitive as to how the weather would affect our dining experience and had tried a little harder to find us a better table. It was a bummer and we will not be going back.

Every now and again I decide to give this restaurant another try. The new location is lovely and the food is always very good. This visit my server was exceptional and almost erased my negative experience with the door staff. First-this restaurant has ample seating even with Covid restrictions inside and out. They also have set up seating areas by the sidewalk with cushioned chairs I assume for drinks. We arrived early for a Thursday dinner and asked to have a drink in one of these areas- but were turned down. Since we noted a large number of open tables on the patio we asked if it were possible to be seated early. We were told our reservation was for inside and so we could not. There is no option when making a reservation for inside or out.Honestly she was never going to say yes to anything we asked. And though we noted our table was ready well before our reservation time she did not seat us till the exact time nor did she walk 3 ft to let us know that she was ready even though we were checked in. I was a host for years at much finer establishment then this and never in my life would I have treated customers in this manner! More puzzling is why the restaurant wouldn’t be staffed appropriately to seat their tables full- my assumption would be they would want to make up lost revenue from lock down and impending winter. All that being said I’m finally over it. Try it once, enjoy it. Then Find a place that appreciates your business.

The best gnocchi I have ever had in my life. And I’ve had a lot of gnocchi! Their smoked whiskey is delicious. Since this is during COVID-19, I should also add the central seats are high walled to prevent contagions from spreading quickly. The meal comes with homemade bread and oil. There was joy in every bite. It will be one of my first recommendations for anyone looking for something Italian.

Honestly I have never written a review on here ! I am honestly overwhelmed at the service at this place . Initially the food that I ordered wasn’t to my expectations but they helped me to get the best of dine in Food . If you ever are in Denver this the right place . They atmosphere was amazing !

My preferred location for delicious italian food. Everyone at our table was quite pleased. I'll return friends next time. The place has a nice atmosphere. Ambience reminds me of Colorado Springs area.

We had such a horrible experience here celebrating a birthday. None of the dishes Impressed our group. The risotto was awful. Lacking flavor and had raw bell peppers on top which I was very confused about. Service was poor. Would never return.

My friends and I just dined at IL Posto. It was such a wonderful experience. Bryce, our waiter, was spot on - with this recommendations and service. We loved the hanger steak and the squash risotto. Highly recommended!

Fine place for quality italian food. I give this place two thumbs up. The staff was very welcoming and observant. The bill was well within reason for the quality.

The food was decent, but portions were small for what you get and how much you pay for it. Service was slow. The waitress came around every 20 minutes or so, and it took a while to get drinks delivered after ordering. Even then some of the drink orders were wrong or would be forgotten completely. The atmosphere was cool, and the location was great. Overall, it was a very underwhelming experience.

Wanted to love this place but had a mixed experience. Atmosphere is very cool. Service was slow but nice when they came around. The appetizers were delicious - calamari and burrata - but three of the four main courses we got fell very flat. The tortellini was downright bad (undercooked, cold, and no flavor at all), and the gnocchi and chicken milanese were plain. Server never came over to ask how everything was, so we just ate it. On the flip side, the risotto was quite good. The restaurant was freezing, and we were sitting next to the kitchen and are a group of people that rarely get cold. I'd probably give this place one more chance, but not a third if it disappointed again.

Great detail in the food and in the entire place. Portion sizes were perfect. Staff was very knowledgeable.

Decent food, a little pricey but not bad, service was great though dealt with some frustrating mistakes (serving us alcohol when we didn't order it, etc.).

Our expectations were high for our takeout during quarantine. I thought this would be a nice birthday dinner. Needless to say none of our expectations were met. We ordered food for 6 and got food enough for probably 3 people. “Cook at home” didn’t come with all ingredients nor the instructions. For as expensive as this food is, it was not worth it in any way. We expected more food and better service for the expense. Very disappointed.

Unfortunately, we didn't have a great experience at Il Posto.

The food was very disappointing. Lack of flavor in anything - I had to request salt and pepper but still didn't finish any of the courses. All three courses were also all room temperature. I couldn't tell if the calamari was supposed to be cold and wished my pasta was at least warm. Staff was friendly and it is a cool spot but that's all I can say good about my dining experience here.

Delicious food and great atmosphere. I loved that I never felt hurried and we were able to sit and enjoy conversation between courses. This was my 3rd restaurant week restaurant this week and was my absolute favorite. Definitely going to be back.

Overpriced food not very tasty bread was the best part of the meal had a stuffed buffalo pasta dish was dry and not much flavor beautiful atmosphere but that's about it. group of ten of us every one felt the same.

This restaurant is very underwhelming. It's expensive (which is fine) but I don't feel that the food lives up to the price. The portions are small and the flavor is just not there. The location and atmosphere are great! The waiter was okay... he was short with us and hardly stopped over. We ordered dessert and I was disappointed. The donuts were hard, dry and flavorless. I left hungry. One of our guests ended up getting very sick after eating here. We won't be back.

I discovered this traditional Italian gem in RiNo. Despite dining next door, I just had to try the Calamari on their menu I have found fried calamari is often overcooked and/or overbreaded at many local restaurants. Cooking whole stuffed pan fried calamari is an art of its own. Their Happy Hour portion of two whole pods of squid stuffed with a garlic, shallot, anchovy stuffing and topped with a housemade san marzano tomato sauce with whole slices of garlic and bitter greens was delicious. Forget fried! It was accompanied by house made ciabatta bread. Many igredients are locally sourced and pastas, sauces, bread. . . are all made fresh daily in house. I appreciate the owners attention to detail and traditional homemade itallian authenticity. For an added experience sit at the chef's counter and chat with Emelio and Ryan while they prepare the aromatic and delicious dishes. I look forward to returning to Il Posto again soon and sampling some of their other Italian specialties.
